Mr2 spyder hardtop track3/9/2024 The car was campaigned in various time-attack racing series in Southern California from 2015 to 2017, including but not limited to the Redline Time Attack Series, the TRD Cup Series, and the Toyota Time Attack Series. Additional photos of the underbody are presented in the gallery below. Modifications to the transmission include an Advanced Clutch Technology heavy-duty clutch kit and Energy Suspensions transmission mounts. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission through a TRD limited-slip differential. The car produced 212 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels in January 2014, as detailed on the dynamometer summary above. The 1.8-liter inline-four has been modified with a Black Label Fabrication turbo kit, an AEM water/methanol injection kit, a custom water-to-air intercooler, a custom oil-cooler kit, an AEM F/IC-6 fuel/ignition controller, and a custom tune by Church Automotive Tuning of Wilmington, California. The car passed California smog testing most recently in May 2018 the seller intends to let the standard California registration expire in July 2020 and switch to planned non-operation status. The seller states that the check-engine light is illuminated due to the removal of the catalytic converters. A boost gauge is affixed to the driver-side A-pillar, and a TurboGauge computer is mounted atop the dashboard. The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts factory white gauges including a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a digital odometer showing just over 96k miles, approximately 28k of which have been added during current ownership. The SRS warning light is illuminated, reportedly due to removal of the passenger airbag and the factory seatbelts. The seller notes that the car retains factory lights, signals, horn, air conditioning, heater, power windows, power mirrors, power door locks, and a factory CD stereo. A custom five-point roll bar was installed by Pit Garage of South El Monte, California. The interior features red Bride-style bucket seats with blue RaceQuip five-point harnesses. Goodridge stainless-steel brake lines and Porterfield pads have been installed. Konig Dial-In flow-formed 15×9″ wheels are wrapped in 225/45 Nitto NT01 tires. The seller reports that the factory body parts retain Absolutely Red (3P0) paint beneath the Plasti Dip coating. A custom carbon-fiber GT rear wing, a custom front splitter, and a VIS Racing Sports fiberglass hardtop have been installed the factory convertible top has been removed. The exterior of the car has been coated in red Plasti Dip, and the hood, fenders, and bumpers have all been modified for track use. This ZZW30 MR2 is offered as a track car with competition trophies, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The exterior is coated in red Plasti Dip, and further modifications include racing seats with five-point harnesses, a custom rear wing and front splitter, a welded five-point roll bar, and a fiberglass hardtop. Its mid-mounted 1.8-liter inline-four is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and has been modified with a Black Label Fabrication turbo kit, an AEM water/methanol injection kit, a custom water-to-air intercooler, an oil cooler, and an engine tune performed by Church Automotive Tuning. This 2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder was purchased in 2013 by the seller, who subsequently converted it into a time-attack track car.
